Michael’s crafts can be a rip off if you splurge

I love to go to Michael’s craft store.  They have so much that it looks like a candy store for the crafty.  But be careful.  Don’t go buying on a whim.  They have coupons every week in the paper.  So be careful to watch out for coupons.  Stay within yoru budget as well.  Don’t go shopping on an empty craft stomach.  You will spend more than you want to.  Go with a particular craft in mind or you will find all kinds of things that you really don’t need to spend your money on.  And save the big purchases for your 40% off coupon.  Be patient and you will save a lot of $

  1. Been there, done that with the Michael’s 40% off coupon. Hobby Lobby is a better value price wise overall, but I have to avoid the clearance sections myself- especially the cross-stitch, scrap booking, and home decorating sections. Also the seasonal/Holiday, who needs plastic 4th of July cups the day after, even if they are 75% off, and it’s not like I have the storage.

Sometimes my mom uses her coupon to buy a children’s book or other gift item. Sometimes there is nothing that she needs, but she will put her coupon towards something useful.

Does anyone have the latest ad, well I think it’s the latest with the 2 for $1 deals?
