This month’s Lifestyles carnival theme is “Blast from the Past”. We’re focusing on the 4th of July or similar type holidays in other countries.
Kelly told you about her most memorable July 4th and now I’ll share mine. If you read her post, then you’ll know they have similarities. Mine is different though because 1) I did the pushing and 2) I have the pictures. lol
And here we have . . . Alligator’s birth day!!!!

My mom said I should name her Liberty Belle. lol That would have been a cool name though.
This picture is not great, but we did have an awesome view from the hospital. I believe we were on the 4th floor.

Here she is at home, just a few days later. She’s a bit pink and peeling because she decided to be a few weeks late.
Alligator is pretty excited that she gets to see the fireworks every year on her birthday. Happy 5th Birthday to my Little Miss Independence!
What’s your most memorable July 4th?

Oh I love the pictures, newborns are so cute and precious.
Great pics! Beautiful.
She was such a sweet and quiet baby who gave you no problems what so ever! Well, at least long enough for the fireworks display
Love ya girl, and yes. You did do all the work.
haha She probably gave me a good 48 hours before the screaming started. Nothing much has changed. lol
Ok, back to the basement to work. I’m totally amazed at the stuff I am finding.
I found some smoke alarms for you. They’re new in the box. This house already had them. Oh well. I guess those will go in the yard sale too.
What a great story…and a fantastic celebration of that little one’s life every year. She’s a doll!
Wait! Let me ask DH. I am sure we can get them up in a few years. I guess I will be installing smoke detectors myself soon.
Funny, my nephew will be 2 this 4th of July! Happy birthday to them both!
Wow, that is so neat! Our second daughter was born on Cinco de Mayo this year, so there will always be celebrations on her birthday too…how fun!
I love this post. My most memorable was going to see the fireworks in our town with my two older boys (whow ere 4 and 2). We had so much fun. We parked in a field away from all the traffic and it was really dark. I brought treats and sparklers and glow jewelry and we sat in lawn chairs in the back of hubby’s truck. We had a great time that 4th of July.
Tami: Sounds like fun, so long as you brought the Deet. lol
Who needs fireworks with a celebration like that?
