Passion for Enviro-Friendly Fashion

Stylists are becoming more and more social conscious while still earning from their craft. Products of these environment-friendly entrepreneurs are wears from organic and recycled materials. These products are from materials that were grown sans pesticides. Producing these garments did not make use of bleaches and other chemicals that would harm people and the environment. Here are some of the companies and stylists that have joined the green bandwagon:

  • American Apparel launched an organic line of T-shirts and recycles millions of pounds of scraps yearly
  • U2’s Bono and Rogan Gregory launched an all-organic clothing line, EDUN
  • Charmone’ launched an eco-friendly collection of shoes
  • Levi’s organic jeans
  • Wal-mart organic T-shirts

Supporting these lines is tantamount to supporting our environment. However, most of them don’t come as cheap as we would like them to be. If only more and more companies would buy eco-friendly materials to use in producing garments, the hefty price tag will soon stop becoming a problem. Don’t you think so?

But wait there’s still one more way to build what is called a “closet with a conscience” – be a good Sale or Bargain Hunter!
