Presidential Campaigns – Please pray for guidance

I realize I am about to break the 2 major rules of conversation but let’s talk about politics and religion for a minute. I want to throw out a new twist for you to think about and ask that you pray a little different for the next 2.5 weeks. As much as I would like to tell you who to pray for, I will at least say that there is nothing wrong with praying for the candidate that you think is the most qualified for the job. But I will ask that you also put aside your preferences and pray in the end that the Lord’s will be done. As scary as that may seem, we might need a president that will bring this wonderful country to it’s knees in order to return to our first love. Just food for thought.

This is something that’s been on my heart as well. I will pray for wisdom for the candidates and voters, and that God’s will be done.
Amen.
Also pray for discernment during the election.
Either way one of these men is going to win, so it’s best to start praying for God to work in their lives now.
Thanks, I will be praying for my man Obama
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (NKJV)
Maybe our lack of prayer and no longer seeking His face is why our country is in such a mess.
