Ready to go Bacon

ready-bacon.jpgEvery once in a while, I will share a time saver that might not be such a money saver.  This is one of those times.  Hormel has a great ready cooked bacon package that takes seconds in the microwave.  I got about 15 pieces of perfect bacon that took about 5 seconds each in the microwave.  I could not even burn them!  Just thought you might like them in a quick pinch.

The question is, though, is it good??

Totally! And with none of that yucky fat you get with regular bacon. You know, the part that never really cooks well. I was raised on a farm and I was pleased. Iw ould like for it to be a little thicker but I enjoyed great bacon this morning for breakfast with no mess or burning! That’s a feat for me.

What would be the ‘cost per..’ for the package. I had seen them and wondered if the extra cost was worth it.
