Just wanted to do a toy recall roundup around the net. Thought you might be interested.
- Play Library has a good list for Fisher Price recalls
- Blogging Stocks has barbie recall insight
- All Toy Recall has a great site to check your toys against recalls
- Baby Center has another great tool to check your toys against.
- Georgian Injury Lawyer Blog ( very interesting) has the recall on necklaces
- Slobokan, although not a toy recall, has the beef recall notice
- Yumsugar has the Campbell’s recall
- Thrifty Mommy told you about white chocolate recalls.
Unfortunately, I can’t bring you all the recalls as there are just too many. Try to keep up with the latest recalls at Recalls.gov. And finally, I had to add this toy recall just because … Well, you will see.

This is a great contest. Thanks for all the information on the recalls!
Thanks for the helpful links. It seems like something new is being recalled every day.
Thanks for the links, and a great contest!
Thanks for the links, my kids’ rooms are getting more bare by the day with all of the recalls going on.
Thanks for the recall links!
Thanks for the info on the recalls. I’m glad I found the B5media and all the blogs involved!! Not just for the contest but all the info that I learned about today.
My goodness. I was reading the newspaper last night and saw more recalls.
They should make toys of metal and wood like they did in the 1950s. That stuff never got recalled. HaHa.
Gerald, they never had recalls, just sharp objects! BTW, he’s my friend. I wouldn’t be so harsh to just anyone. He’s special
Oh yes, he’s special and ever so witty.
I’m thinking I might have to stick with clothes for my baby shower gift!
I want to learn to use photoshop like that!
Thanks Kelly for all the info. It’s very useful.
Peggy, I love giving gas drops, nail clippers, tylenol, dipaer rash cream, nose sucker, saline drops, etc … You know, the uncute stuff that nobody wants to give because it doesn’t gegt an “ooh/ahh” when they are opened. Diapers and wipes are also great gifts. I got so many clothes that my daughter never even got to wear some of them. I was very fortunate.
Wow, it seems like it is safer for kids to play with scissors these days (unless thay have lead in them!) Thanks for all the info and I am loving this Blogtoberfest!
Thank you for the recall information, and the links. it’s great to be informed!
The number of recalls is sad. Thanks for the info!
kellys, actually i did just give a J&J first-aid/health care kit at a shower. she loved it.
I just found your blog…Lots of helpful info! And thanks for the chance to win in this awesome contest!
thank you
Thank you for this info!
What I have been trying to find out is if there is an affordable tool out there that will allow us to check the toys in our home for any lead levels.
Anybody??
I was looking for the same tool, Angela and haven’t found it yet.
