Save money on long distance with Skype

I use Skype all the time. I used to hate it (I had weird Skype issues) – but now I love it. I use it mostly for chatting with other bloggers friends and some non-blogger pals, but if you need phone service on the cheap, Skype might be the way to go.
You can download and try out Skype for free, and chatting is always free. If you’d like to make long distance phone calls, Skype just got some new lower priced long distance rates listed at their website. Like any phone plan, there are plenty of subscriptions to choose from and many cost less than typical phone company rates.
We also like Skype. We only use it for chatting and computer to computer calls right now. But we do that so that we are able to webcam with my parents so they can see us and our son more often.
