It’s easy to get carried away with spending money during the holiday season. People especially seem to get a little wacky on Black Friday. Personally, I’m of the mind set that we should all celebrate Buy Nothing Day and aim for a minimalist holiday – but that’s a longer story for another post; also I know I can’t convince everyone that less stuff during the holidays is a good plan. With that in mind, if you will be shopping for big or small ticket items this holiday season, it’s best to know where you can get the best deals.
One site to visit is Dealnews. This site is currently offering a helpful article; 2008 Black Friday Predictions. This article covers tips related to:
- Deals on laptops
- Which HDTVs are going to be well-priced (all screen sizes included)
- Ipods and other Apple Store products
- Which popular products are going to be big sellers this season
You can also check out Dealnews’ Black Friday deals section and see daily money saving tips on their homepage. The holidays are coming up fast, but it’s still early enough that you have time to shop around, which means you’ll get better deals on the gifts your family and friends are interested in.
