Save time on your computer

I am competent on the computer but my husband is a genious! I am serious. I have sen him typing on a page that doesn’t show up for 2 clicks. By the time that page shows up, he is done typing whatever he needed to type. He knows all the shortcuts and anyone who has seen him fly on the keyboard is amazed. So there! It’s not just a biased opinion. So I am trying to learn all the chortcuts on the keyboard because I see just how much time it saves him instead of using a mouse. As a matter of fact, I am keyborad dependent at work as well. When I teach someone the monitor position at work, I have to be careful not to use all keyboard shortcuts as some people like to use the mouse. I actually have to ask which way they prefer to learn so as not to confuse them.
So what does that have to do with being thrifty? Remember, we are just as much about saving time as we are money. Using keyboard shortcuts are a great way to save time on the computer. Dumb Little Man has put up a great list of short cuts that will save you a ton of time on the computer. I love the list and the fact that he hits jsut ab out every popular computer trick in the book. Now if I could just text as fast as the teenagers, I would be set. HAHA!
