Snow Day!!!!

Even though I live in an area where snow in the winter is an expected staple, my town in Central New Jersey hasn’t had a decent snowfall in over two years. We’ve had the odd dusting or icing, but not a really good snowfall. As all parents know, snow is the most fun a kid can have with no money.
This morning when I woke up there were a couple of inches of snow on the ground and an instant alert on the phone. No school. The Weather Channel says it’ll change over this afternoon, so I’m expecting a morning of snowball fights, snowman making and snow fort building. I also expect to throw in a few snow angels and maybe a bit of shoveling to avoid a lawsuit by the UPS guy.
To be honest, I can do without the snow. We already established I’m not a cold-weather person, and I’m in the throes of a bad cold. It’s not about me today though. This is the day kids in my area has been waiting for. It’s a snow day!

We have gotten slammed here in the Midwest. I am so over snow, it is not even funny.
Enjoy it for what it is worth and get some fun stuff in
