Thrifty Mommy

Staying healthy for our kids.

Robyn at Inside Motherhood had a great definition of being healthy.  It was

To have the energy to play in the floor and the flexibility to get up afterwards.

I have a heart condition that requires me to exercise several times a week.  I never find the time and I know I should.  My problem is that I  need knee surgery and don’t have the time.  I just need to find it.

This should remind all of us that we need to keep ourselves “healthy” for our kids and spouses if nothing else.  This is very thrifty as it would cut down on your medical bills.

  1. Thrifty?

Well, you’re going to live longer and burial will be more expensive as the years go by (don’t even get me started about the extra years of food you’ll have to buy.

Maybe it’s cheaper to NOT exercise ;)

    Kelly,
I didn’t know you needed knee surgery.

I need to exercise!!!! I just can’t seem to find the time for myself or someone to watch my kids. It’s hard not having family around to help out, but you both know about that problem.
