FYI. Stride rite has another buy one get the second 50% off at the local stores. Somebody asked me one time why I blog on Stride rite all the time. They are more expensive than most shoes and kids grow out of them fast. All of this is true but I have a personal involvement in the brand. You see, I am 31 years old (and proud of it) and have a children’s size 2.5 shoe. So I don’t, unfortunately, grow out of my shoes as I have worn the same size for the last 15 years. I must have forgotten to stand in the “big people” line when God was hading out feet. HAHA. Not to mention hat I have problematic feet. So I wear out my shoes extremely fast. So when I can find a brand of shoes that last me more than 6 months, they not only have to be a great brand of shoes but they save me money since I don’t have to replace my shoes every few months. It doesn’t get any more fiscally frugal than that for me. So I will probably always keep up with Stride rite even when my kids outgrow them and I don’t. The new styles this year are adorable.
