Study shows that women dress to impress when they are ovulating.

Have you heard of the recent study done that says that women dress to impress when they are ovulating?  Anybody out there feel sexy when you’re ovulating?  I don’t.  I feel fat and grumpy.  For those of you who remember the term, it’s called “frumpy”.  So I have to admit that I laughed so hard when I heard that people actually think that women feel sexy when they are releasing eggs!  Not to male bash, because I genuinely think that is wrong to do, but it had to be a man that thought up that study.  I don’t know a single woman that likes that time of the month.

Thanks to Liz at Bebestages, I am reminded of the silly study and that I am not the only one who feels that it is totally false.

I saw this post and didn’t comment on it on Liz’s site. For those of you who don’t know, there is a difference between ovulating (when you’re fertile and releasing an egg) and menstruating (when you’re on your period).

I can’t believe I’m putting this on a post . . . (deep breath) but here goes. I actually feel sexy while I’m ovulating. This is probably how I had two unplanned pregnancies. LOL Now while I’m menstruating I feel totally frumpy.

Actually, most women ovulate about 12-16 days before their period, so it’s possible that you are feeling sexier at or right before ovulation.

  3. Karen says:

Yes, it is during ovulation . . . right around the 14th day. I tell my husband to stay away. lol

I saw that study too and thought, well, that explains everything, doesn’t it.

Being human is a puzzling thing.
