End of summer clearance is everywhere. Here are a few places I’ve seen or heard about:
Wal-Mart – I was there today. I got my DD a Barbie for $2. They had some other toys on clearance. It looked like they were clearancing out some of the home selection. I saw area rugs for $10. The sandals were on clearance too. The leather Earth Shoes were 50% off.
Sears – My mom told me that the women’s and teen’s section at her Sears had an additional 75% off the clearance. She got a pair of a pair of capris and a blouse for $9. When she purchased her items, they also printed off coupons for her to use.
Target – My friend told me that they got boy’s swim trunks there this week 75% off, $2.74 each. I’m sure there are more deals to be found there.
Toys ‘R Us – I mentioned this one yesterday.
Have you found any great deals? Let us know about them.

I was at target tonight an got two evenflo soft and wide gates for 7.96 each, orginally 31.99. they had a whole stack of them!
Wow Amy. Good for you. It is rare to find stroller, pack-n-plays, gates, and things like that on clearance.
What kind of Barbie for $2? By the way- I love the new site colors- in case I didn’t mention it before.
I’m not really sure what kind of Barbie. I just know it had a purple tu-tu on and my daughter has a purple ballerine dress-up outfit, so she was thrilled. She dressed up last night like her Barbie. I am REALLY disappointed that the Barbie’s tu-tu is a thong. I couldn’t tell when I bought it. I wrote a while back about my disgust with Bratz dolls. Maybe it’s time for a Barbie article. I told my daughter that Barbie’s underwear needed to be bigger. The Barbie is also a black doll. It seems when dolls are on clearance, those are the ones you usually will find. I want my daughter to have dolls of other races. She has friends at school of other races and I want her to accept all races. I don’t understand why parents only buy their children dolls of their race. Ok, I’m getting on a tangent now. lol
