Amazon is one of my favorite places to go shopping at. Why? haha, I don’t have to leave the house and most of the time I have tons of gift certificates from things I’ve done online. In the past few months I’ve racked up about $100+ in Amazon GCs and I’ve just discovered how to find more things on sale.
In case you don’t normally purchase online you just fill up your cart and click on check out. Once at check out you will get a chance to place your code or promotion. Here’s a few codes for you:

Vote for ridiculous deals on Amazon

Ok, so there is a voting deal at Amazon this week. The way I understand it, you log in and vote for the deal you would like to purchase. The deals are ridiculously frugal! A Wii for $79. Everyone can afford that if for no other reason than to resell it. Although I don’t think that was the intended reason for offering such good deals. There are toys, computers, electronics, etc up for grabs.
90% off at amazon for groceries and more
Thanks to Erin at About.com, I found a great link on a list of Amazon products from 50%-90% off on all groceries, household, health and beauty, and pets. I agree, Erin. What a gold mine! Check it out!
Free Amazon gift card with Coinstar
OK, you have heard me gripe about paying coinstar to count my money. Turns out, they have a great deal going right now. When you bring at least $30 worth of coins to a coinstar machine, you get a $10 gift card for Amazon.com. There seems to be conflicting reports as to what you have to do with the $30 you have counted. About says you have to buy an Amazon gift card with the $30 but then you spend $30 and get a total of $40 in gift cards. Coinstar says you just have to have your coins counted. …read more
Careful with Amazon.com purchases
I recently bought several books for my DD on Amazon.com for $.01. I thought I had gotten a great deal until I got to the checkout and realized that shipping was several dollars a piece. I got them anyway since I had purchased a car seat base as well and got a discount on shipping. The total shipping was not too bad with the discount so I justified it. Just watch out for the hidden costs like shipping and handling. They can bite you in the butt and you will loose the great deal you …read more
Great deals on Christmas shipping
The holidays have officially begun. I love this time of year. The hustle and bustle of the shopping and making sure that all the decorations are up makes me get up and go! I know … I’m weird. But you love me anyway, don’t you?!?! One of my favorite traditions is going shopping on Black Friday with my MIL. We have a blast and then the men meet us with the kids for dinner. It’s great! This year we were talking about online shopping and she said that she doesn’t do it at all. I thought, “How sad”. At least …read more

Amazon has a great sale going on for toys at 50% off with qualifying free shipping. I like that combo. It’s finally a great time to shop for toys for the wonderful Christmas season. Stop laughing at me. I am already shopping for Christmas. Who has enough money in the month of December to pay cash for the entire shopping list? I don’t. Well, actually that’s another post.

Amazon has a list out by saadia gives a pretty thorough list of frugal baby shower gifts. I agree with most of them except the diaper champ. I love mine and for the most part, never smell anything. I do, however, cheat and use deodorant bags from Hefty. I love lists!

Looking for a particular book but having a hard time finding them? I have talked about ADDall being a great place to find books. I also like Amazon. You can find used books for pennies, literally. And it’s easy to search for what you are looking for. I am in the market for some more Picture Me books. My daughter loves them. Just lump it all in your shopping cart and shop away.
This one’s for you, Robyn. Enjoy that free shipping.
