It’s hard to believe it, but it was three years ago that I started blogging at Thrifty Mommy. I had never blogged before, but I love to save money.
I actually landed this job because I would send out emails ranting about the debt that Americans were in and how we were spending more money than we were making.
The average American spends more money than they make. When will this stop? It is going to catch up with us at some time or another.

My life has been so busy lately that I almost forgot . . . last month was my two year anniversary writing for Thrifty Mommy!!!! I’ve learned a lot over these past two years and this site has helped me to meet so many great people and also served to redevelop my love for writing.

Today my hubby and I have been married for 14 years. Yep, really, 14 years! The bad thing about telling people how long you’ve been married is that they usually look at you funny and then you can see them figuring your age in their head. When I see them figuring my age, I just tell them I got married at 15. hahaha

Thrifty Anniversary ideas for this thrifty mommy
My 10 year anniversary is coming up and I have a long list of things I want for my anniversary. But true to form, you might be surprised as to what is on it. So, I am hoping you are reading this, DH, so you don’t have to guess as to what I want, or don’t want.

I celebrated my first blogging anniversary this week. Yep, it was just a year ago that Kelly proposed that I begin writing with her at Thrifty Mommy.
It’s funny to look back on some of my writings from a year ago. It’s kind of like looking back at high school pictures.
