Thrifty but satisfying birthday present
I am so excited! I get to host a birthday party for 20 teenage girls on Saturday night! I know you are all thinking I am crazy since I don’t even have a teenage daughter. Babysitting issues.
I have been blessed beyond measure with my babysitter. She loves my little girl almost as much as I do. Miss Martha keeps my daughter 2 days a week while I work part time and I feel so comfortable with her. The best part of it is that she only charges me $20/day. I love that and she is so worth more! A baby sitting Co-op is a great idea.

We have talked about babysitting before and I have asked for your ideas on how to keep the magic alive with your spouse without having to cost yourself an arm and a leg. If you are like my DH and I, we don’t have any family that live close enough to help out with this dilemma so getting creative is a necessity. Swapping babysitting services with friends is a great way to work that out. Another is a babysitting Co-op. Blogging baby has a great article on how it works. Not a bad idea. Maybe we should try it out.
