I also had my friends put on the baby shower invitations that diapers and wipes were the main thing I needed.

I remember several years ago visiting my friend Robyn (check out her mommy blog) and at the bottom of her stairs was a long snake like looking thing. I know I asked Robyn what in the world that thing was and soon discovered it was the bag part of a Diaper Genie.

Having a new baby in the house I have gotten all kinds of advice. I have heard that Johnson’s baby lotion has a higher ph and is bad for your child’s skin, even though it is the leading baby lotion. Leave it to Frugal Living to give you a great alternative. She suggests using pure olive oil instead of lotion. There are more great baby money saving tips here.

Sometimes, I will bring you funny stories of thrifty mommies. Sometimes I will share something that doesn’t always make me look my brightest. Today I will share both. Or at least something that sounds just like me. Graco strollers must have a hidden button somewhere. I am not sure where though. I would venture to guess, however, that I would have had trouble with just about any stroller. But anyway, I went to a church yard sale the other week and was trying to help a set of grandparents figure out a Graco …read more

The website is called Baby Genie and so far I haven’t found any drawbacks. I’ll let you know if I do.
