Tax free shopping for back to school

I told you last year about tax free shopping. I was talking to my sister and she said that you couldn’t pay her enough to get into the crowds in her state that weekend. You could not only pay me but you will find me there as well with no tax. Just like Black Friday. But that is another post. This year, there are some great tax free state shopping days. Old Navy stock up sale
Old Navy has a good sale on the essentials for back to school. Their hoodies are $20-$25 (reg. $30), graphic tees are $10, etc… Enjoy shopping. If you have to spend money on school clothes, you might as well save some of it for something else. I am sure school supplies are expensive enough without a good sale.
Stride Rite has their back to school sale buy 1 get the 2nd 50% off at local stores.
FYI. Stride rite has another buy one get the second 50% off at the local stores. Somebody asked me one time why I blog on Stride rite all the time. They are more expensive than most shoes and kids grow out of them fast. All of this is true but I have a personal involvement in the brand. You see, I am 31 years old (and proud of it) and have a children’s size 2.5 shoe. So I don’t, unfortunately, grow out of my shoes as I have worn the same size for the last 15 years.
