Want to go pink for October? Your website, that is.
Web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research.
The hope is that you turn your site pink (in whatever way works for your site), go out to that World Wide Web thing and educate yourself about the multiple issues related to Breast Cancer, then take that newfound knowledge and tell someone else what you’ve learned.
At the Pink for October website you can find more information and pink graphics.

Monday I wrote about a blog, “Confessions of an Executive Restaurant Recruiter”. Carl is a blog writer and was boycotting any entries until 25 other blog writers posted about breast cancer. Thankfully, many other writers contributed and Carl is now off strike. Thanks Carl for being so passionate about this life-threatening cancer. Be sure and check out Carl’s blog for a list of writers who contributed. I’m sure you will find some good links there.

I was reading “Confessions of an Executive Restaurant Recruiter” today and found that the blog writer is on strike. He is boycotting writing anymore posts until 25 blogs write something about breast cancer. Well, either he is crazy or he is just passionate about this subject. I’d say the latter is true, so cheers to Carl Chapman for his efforts!!!
