• Book a few weeks ahead of time. Airlines generally offer a lower price to those who book early than those who wait for the last minute. If you have a travel agent, she’ll help you shop around for the cheapest flight available, or you can comparison shop online.
• Catch the “red-eye”. If you don’t mind arriving in the wee hours, catch a red-eye. No one likes to travel at 2:00 AM, making these flights less expensive.
