Cheap Christmas Spa Basket Gift – Heating Pads

I came across this article on buckwheat heating pads today and thought they’d be a great addition to my Christmas spa baskets. I’m going to substitute rice, which I’ve found at a cheaper price than buckwheat, and throw in a few sprigs of lavender from my garden.
Apparently, dried cherry pits can be substituted for buckwheat, too. If you’re super thrifty and like eating cherries, you might want to look into the dried cherry pit thing further.
