5 Tips for Collecting from Rebates

As Thanksgiving is coming near, stores are looking to lure you in. One way that they do that is through rebates. Promises of good savings from rebates is enough to get us in the stores. The problem is that many times we forget to send in the rebates or the rebate has too many hoops to jump through.
There are some ways to make sure you get your rebate money.

First Rebate Checks Deposited Today

According to Tax Girl, the first round of rebate checks will be deposited today, which is a few days earlier than originally promised. Based upon my husband’s SSN, it looks as though we’ll be getting ours next week.
I had originally planned to use ours to purchase a new bed for us (we’ve never had a new bed), but given my husband’s unemployment situation we may have to use it for bills.
