Triple coupons started today at Harris Teeter. This is an exciting time for couponers. It’s a time to stock up on free or almost free groceries. It’s a great way to feed our families, reduce our budgets, or use the money saved for another purchase.
My coupon binder is so unorganized right now. I haven’t clipped coupons in about a month. This morning I spent about 30 minutes looking through coupons and clipping coupons. Not a bad investment of time for the money saved.
Here’s a look at what I got today. I spent about $21 but saved around $53. That’s a savings …read more

Sometimes I find some great deals and I’m so excited about it that I have to share it with all you thrifty folks. My latest deal is this oak entertainment center/armoire.
My hubby and I dropped by the local antique/furniture/junk store this week. We just never know what we’ll find. I have been dropping in there frequently lately because I was looking for something for my tv to sit on. I found a beautiful big dresser but it was $350. Ouch. I even considered it. After all, it would be a lifelong beautiful piece. Thankfully, we went back a few days …read more

Today was the final day of this week’s triple coupon sale at Harris Teeter. I’m so pleased with the money I was able to save. Today I spent about $24 and saved $72.67!
Additional savings were earned from a $1 catalina that I received after my last purchase on Friday. General Mills and Harris Teeter have a rebate savings going on right now. I think if you purchase 3 Pillsbury products you get a $1 coupon/Catalina at the end of your purchase good on your next order. I got one Wednesday after buying 3 Pillsbury Grand biscuits and then again Friday after the …read more

During the past sale week, Harris Teeter was having their super double coupon sale again. During this sale, they double coupons with a face value of $1.98 or less. As you can imagine, you can save a lot of money.
I confess that I did not want to participate in the sale this time. We just got back from summer youth camp a few days earlier and I’ve had a lot of extra things to do. I knew I’d better take advantage of this opportunity though so that I could continue filling our pantry with inexpensive items.
Here’s a list of the …read more
