Top 30 Yard Sale Tips

As I shared earlier this week, we made $2953 at our yard sale last weekend. Prior to that, the most we had ever made was $580. I can’t guarantee that you’ll do as well as we have, but here are some tips to help you get started.
1) Go through closets, dressers, toys, cupboards, cabinets, bookcases, etc before the yard sale. Take out items that you no longer want and add them to your yard sale pile. It’s good to do this at least once a year. You may want to wait until spring when you’re doing your spring cleaning.

Just about all of us have one. It’s a place that we can’t seem to keep clean and organized no matter what we do.
Here is a picture of my clutter spot. It has been haunting me for two years. Each day I see it and it makes me feel unorganized and burdened. I feel as though I have too much to do and I’ll never get it all done. No matter how many times I go through the papers to file, toss, and shred, the pile is never gone.

Now that I’m working from home, I’m trying to get a bit more organized. It seemed things had been piling up and getting stuffed here and there until a later time. When we let things pile up, it becomes overwhelming and like a defeating task. Here are some tips to help us stay organized each day.
