Save time on your computer

I am competent on the computer but my husband is a genious!  I am serious.  I have sen him typing on a page that doesn’t show up for 2 clicks.  By the time that page shows up, he is done typing whatever he needed to type.  He knows all the shortcuts and anyone who has seen him fly on the keyboard is amazed.  So there!  It’s not just a biased opinion. So I am trying to learn all the chortcuts on the keyboard because I see just how much time it saves him instead of using a mouse.  As a …read more

How To Clean Your PC

Did you know?
At this very moment, dust bunnies may have your PC in a death grip. Germs are certainly gathering atop your mouse and keyboard, ready to assault your immune system. And your screen … well, chances are it has become smudge central.
Disgusting, huh?  Thankfully, CNET has some tips on cleaning your computer.  Some things in the article include why you need a clean PC, how to clean a keyboard, monitor cleaning tips, computer cleaning supplies you’ll need, and more.

Photo Ornaments in 15 Minutes

As a teacher, I am on the look out for cute, easy, and quick arts & crafts for my students.  Here is one that I found this past weekend.  I hope to find time to make this with my students this week.  This is a simple ornament idea that you could do with your child. Perhaps they could make one as a gift for grandma and grandpa.  Thanks to Dumb Little Man for the tip.

Buy nothing gifts from Dumb Little Man

I just love that dumb little man over there!  He and his crew are so smart!  He has come up with 59 unique, cheap, but nice gifts to give for the holidays and I love most all of them.  My favorite is the buy nothing circle.  What a great idea!  Seventh Heaven does this for Christmas and birthdays as well.  They all make something for the individual instead of buying something.  I like that a lot!

Home remedies are frugal no matter how you look at it!

I love the website, Dumb Little Man. We have conversations with him before and have had a ball! Recently, he has put a great set of tips for home remedies for everything from burned tongues to chaffed skin to sunburns. It seems you can use raw potatoes for anything! Thanks, DLM.
