Don’t buy on a whim – try sticking to a list. Oddball ingredients may sound good, but if they’re fresh or have a short shelf life and you don’t end up using them in a recipe, it’s a waste.
Don’t mix produce – fruits give off ethylene which will make your veggies go bad faster. Use separate drawers for produce types.

Quick and Easy chicken tips
So yesterday, I told you about a fantastic Chicken Amandine recipe . I also told you I would tell you a few of my favorite chicken tips. Some will save you money, Some will save you time.
Boil several pounds of chicken at one time and divide it up in to pound bags and then freeze them. (saves $)
Cheat and find the rotisserie chickens from Kroger or Food Lion and get them right before they are thrown out and are discounted. Usually this is around 8 pm. (saves time and $)
If you are really cheap, dumpster dive. (saves $)
