Save the Date – Free Shipping Day – Dec 17

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all over but there’s one more chance to save big on holiday gifts coming up – Free Shipping Day which is set for December 17.

Free Shipping Day is a one day shopping event when participating merchants offer free shipping to customers with guaranteed delivery by Christmas Eve. So far more than 585 retailers have signed on to participate. That’s a major movement as last year only 250 retailers participated.

Al Free Shipping Day promotions for participating merchants will be kept under wraps until Thursday, December 17 at 12:00AM EST. It’s not a total free for all as some merchants may have minimum order restrictions but according to event news, more than half will have free shipping on all orders.

Free Shipping Day is gaining in popularity – last year the FreeShippingDay.com web site had 250,000 unique visitors in a single 10-day period and that included 100,000 on the Free Shipping Day itself. This year should be even better as more than double the amount of retailers have signed up. Some participating retailers include Toys R Us, JCPenney, Apple Store, Nike, Sears, Babies R Us, Eddie Bauer, PacSun, PetSmart, and Ralph Lauren.

JCPenny’s has a good Valentine’s Day sale going on

Right now, actually until 1 pm today, JC Penny’s is having a 75% off sale. Check out your local flier to see what is involved and if you need anything. Remember, if you don’t need it, even 75% off isn’t a good deal.

Also, they have free shipping on anything over $69 including outlet items. Not bad if you need something.

Bibs, Burps, And Beyond has a nice sale

I love personalized burp clothes. When I take my infants to church, I don’t have to worry about sharing snot rags and spit rags since they have their names on their burps. So when I decide to buy personalized burps, I go to Bibs, Burps, and Beyond. I do think $9 a burp is a little much but now they have a sale going that if you spend $25 or more, then you get a free burp or bib. Also, if you spend $100 or more (way more than I could recommend) then you get free shipping. I have always loved this site so I thought you would like the sale.

JCPenney has another sales code TOYS4ALL. I’m not sure if it’s also for free shipping or for a percentage off.

Also the JCPenney website is advertising doorbusters for Saturday from 6 am to 1 pm. Check out their sales ad.
