In 30 minutes, I have a delicious protein and I didn’t even have to do anything to it.  I love that.  But normally, I wait until Food Lion puts their’s on sale BOGO.  Then they are only $4 a piece.  I can swing that.  So when I was at Wal-Mart today, I noticed that they had their Smithfield Pork Tenderloins for $3.97.  That was the recgular price so I bought 3 …

Monday – pancakes with homemade syrup and quiche with ham, cheese, and spinach
Tuesday – cubed steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits
Wednesday – pigs in a blanket, ?????

This Week’s Menu

Since we’re moving soon, we’ve been trying to use up our stockpile of groceries.  Here’s this week’s menu:
Sunday – fellowship meal at church (Yummm!)
Monday – hamburgers, tomato casserole, fresh corn on the cob (free!), baked beans
Tuesday – ham (bogo!), mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits
Wednesday – roast, carrots, diced potatoes, rolls
Thursday – barbeque chicken, rice, vegetable
Friday – pizza at birthday party
Saturday – go out
Don’t forget – If you plan your meals, you’ll be more likely to cook and less likely to go out to eat.
What are you cooking this week?

Welcome to Busy Family Meals

Some days I feel like I need more inspiration for meal planning.  Many days I don’t feel like tackling a time consuming meal or I don’t have the ingredients on hand to make what I want.
I came across Busy Family Meals today.  It’s a new b5 Media blog in our Lifestyles Channel.  I’ll be sure to stop by because I need some ideas for quick and healthy meals.
Welcome Busy Family Meals!
