Nursery bedding dilemma solved.

I have mentioned before that I want to trade my daughter’s bedding in for a more “girly” set. I am looking at something that I can put in a purple room. I got all the appliqué needed for the bedding and curtains. When I totaled them up, I had already spent $80. By the time I finished buying the material and trim and then made it, I would be right back up to the $150 it would cost me to get the bedding I wanted originally.

Pottery barn has it’s Max bedding on sale for 30% off. It is perfect for any little boy with bugs and blue out the wazoo! (no pun intended) There are colorful appliqué and 200 count sheet set ready to let your little one enjoy his room. How cute is that! I can only afford the Pottery Barn for kids when it’s on sale so I wanted to let you know.

Ok. I have a question. When my DH and I picked out our nursery décor, we wanted to keep it gender neutral so we wouldn’t have to redo it if our next child was a boy. Thrifty idea at the time. Now, I want to sell what I have and get “girly” bedding for my little girl. My question is this, should I get the entire bedding set or just get curtains and a bed skirt? My eBay auction of nursery bedding is finally moving.

I have my current nursery décor on sale at eBay. It is the first time I have sold anything there. Bought there, yes; but never sold anything. I am having fun with it, watching the bidding. Or at least that is what it should be. There is only 1 day left to bid and the first bids just went up. I was really stressing about it because there weren’t any bids. I should have known better.
