Pottery Barn Kids has a whole new crop of new gifts on clearance.  It’s a great time to get some really cool gifts from a really nice store and get a great deal to boot.  I love that kind of deal.

I am looking for blackout shades for he kids rooms.  I can’t believe how much these things cost!  I have looked everywhere and I refuse to pay more than $50 for a shade.  I want to pay $25 but I think that is a little unreasonable.  I can’t sew but am thinking about asking my MIL or my friend MM (my wonderful babysitter’s mom) to help.  I might just get really cute kids curtains on sale somewhere and add the blackout material to the back.

As backpacks go, if you want a good one, you will end up paying at least $25-30.  I know that school is out for the summer in most places.  Some of you around the world do all year school and I personally think that is a great idea, but the rest of us have a few months to get rested up for the onslaught of school work, activities, and sports.  So when I came across an add for Pottery Barn I had to smile. 

If you have read Thrifty Mommy for any time, you would know that I love Pottery Barn.  I just won’t pay their prices.  So when I saw that they had added over 65 new items on to their sale page, some only for the Internet, I was very happy to browse.  Take a look and enjoy the savings.

Pottery barn has it’s Max bedding on sale for 30% off.  It is perfect for any little boy with bugs and blue out the wazoo! (no pun intended)  There are colorful appliqué and 200 count sheet set ready to let your little one enjoy his room.  How cute is that!  I can only afford the Pottery Barn for kids when it’s on sale so I wanted to let you know.
