Beware of Scammers

I’m sure that most of you have heard about the rebate checks that should be coming from the government this year. Wherever there’s money, there are scammers. Beware of emails and phone calls from people claiming they work for the IRS.
These scammers are trying to scare you into thinking they’re from the IRS. What they really want is for you to give them your personal banking information. They’ll even stoop to telling you that you can’t get your rebate until they confirm your checking account number.
