One of the best things about blogging is I get to try out some of the latest and greatest products for the family. Today is no exception. I recently received a pair of pink (of course) Lanikai Stride Rite sandals for my daughter and a pair of blue Bondi Stride Rite sandals for my son. There were lots of good things about the shoes that I liked and one major thing that I found lacking, IMHO.
Best parts of the sandals:

My new temporary sandals

So I went to the shoe cobbler today. He said he had a temporary pair of sandals that I probably wouldn’t like but would serve to let us get a good fit in order to make the new pair of sandals perfect. So when I showed up, these were what I found. How adorable! He said that since we would be taking them apart and working with them, if I wanted to keep them, he would only charge me half price!
