Did you see today’s Oprah show? The show was titled “My Baby or My Job: Why Elizabeth Vargas Stepped Down”. Mrs. Vargas told her story of why she stepped down from a prestigious career as a news anchor. She continues to work in journalism, but her job and hours are not as demanding. Stay at home moms (and dads) contribute financially to their family too. Today I came across a great blog that is written by SAHM Sarah Forhan. In her posts, she writes about being frugal, which saves your family money and makes you thrifty mommies contributors of your home.

Whether you want to consider the religious aspects of the site or not, the financial advice is sound and well worth the look.
