Our blogathon was a success
Thank you to all who participated in our 24 hour blogathon. We had a ball. I learned a lot about blogging and blogathons this weekend. I thought I would share some of what I learned with you.
Plan, Plan,Plan. I got the dates mixed up and didn’t give my blogging friends enough time to participate.
Start early. Don’t wait until the day of to blog.
Make sure you use a blogging platform that allows you to schedule.
DON’T participate when you have a big project going on. Our surprise took longer to get rolling due to the time constraints of the blogathon.

We at Thrifty Mommy want to wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving. We are spending the weekend at my in-laws. YEAH! They are great and the kids will have a ball with their cousins. I miss my family but plans are already made to see my side in a few months time. I thought I would tell you a few things I am thankful for today. What are you thankful for?

Send Free Cards to Our Troops

Xerox is helping us to get cards to our troops. At “Let’s Give Thanks” all you have to do is click on a card that you would want to send, put your name and location, and select a message that you want to go to someone overseas.
All of the artwork on the cards were made by children. This is a pretty cool site. I’ve sent several cards already. It really only takes a few seconds.
