This month, the Lifestyles Channel blogs are talking about our favorite furry friends. I love pets, but I’ll be the first to admit they are not a smart choice for someone living a thrifty lifestyle. Even with spay/neuter certificates or shelter adoptions, owning and caring for a pet is pretty pricey these days. For me, though, it is worth the expense to have my rotten little Gus, mean girl Sophie and counter surfing Rocky.
