Stolen T.M.X. Elmo Dolls

According to Wal-Mart spokeswoman Jolanda Stewart, a shipment containing more than 100 T.M.X. Elmo dolls went missing on October 31st while on their way to Arkansas. Wal-Mart is conducting an investigation and also offering a reward for Elmos’ return.
The Fisher Price T.M.X. Elmo has been pegged the hottest toy of the year. These hard to find dolls are being sold on ebay for more than $80 each. This leaves me wondering if the Elmos were misplaced or stolen. Someone might be losing their job over this one.

My Quest for a TMX Elmo

About a month ago I wrote a post on the TMX Elmo. I don’t keep up with the latest toys, but I had heard that the TMX Elmo was this year’s hot item. I checked with Wal-Mart and asked when the toy was being released. The lady gave me the date of October 1st. I remember that it was going to be released on a Sunday morning. I actually thought about going to Wal-Mart at like 5 a.m. and getting one just to resell. Obviously, I had no clue how popular they really were.

I was looking at Wal-Mart’s sale flyer and saw they have the T.M.X. Elmo for $34.88. I’ve noticed the toy costs more from some other places. This is a one time offer from Wal-Mart. The sale is October 1-7. Now’s your chance to get it cheaper. Shop now for Christmas!
