There’s no time like the present to start saving money on shipping costs for holiday gifts. I know it’s early, but planning and getting started ahead of time is one way to save.
As we all know shipping costs can be substantial if you wait until the last minute. Choose gifts now, plan on shipping before the holiday rush and save.
Look for free shipping. It’s lame to pay for shipping when so many online shops offer free shipping. Plenty of places regularly ship for free and many hold special holiday shipping deals.

Another Hike in Postage Costs

It seems the price of everything is going up . . . gas, groceries, and now postage stamps. We just saw an increase a few months ago when postage went from 39 cents to 41 cents.
We’re in for another increase. Effective Monday, May 12th the price of postage will increase 1 cent, which will make postage stamps 42 cents. Make sure you attach a 1 cent stamp to your bills or letters or they may be returned to you.
Paying bills online is looking more and more attractive to me. What about you?
