The Bible says that a man is a slave to his lender. I believe that. Last year my husband sold some of his toys so that we could pay off a lot of debt. Now we are just a few hundred dollars away from being debt free. It is very liberating. Debt is bondage.

About 6 years ago, I was paying off $10,000 in credit card bills I accumulated while paying off my student loans and starting my own business.

Now that I am debt free, I can't tell you how much better my life is. I could have used resources like this to help me while I was frantically repaying and I want to encourage everyone that paying everything off is hard, but it is completely worth it.
