Ever wonder wonder what to do with all those greeting cards we get during the holidays? Find the ones that have a general theme. One might be mainly red or have lots of snowflakes on them. Then take them and cut them up into big pieces. Now turn them over. See, your kids have a free game of memory and you don’t have to clutter up the trash can until next month.

Great idea. I forgot about this one.
I did this when I was teaching, except I glued the picture to a row of popsicle sticks, then cut the popsicle sticks apart with a razor knife. I stored the puzzle in a plastic baggie.
I like to cut up Christmas cards with attractive pictures or designs and use them as gift tags the following Christmas.
When I was teaching, I would let the kids have them to decorate their gift bags for their parent’s gifts that we had made.

I am a scrapbooker, adn I take my 1″ square punch and punch out the central theme on ALL of the cards after the season has passed and create a LO of the cards. It always looks so festive and kicks off myscrapbooking of holiday pictures.

Crackers are these paper rolls wrapped in festive paper and when you pull the ends it snaps open and there is a tissue paper crown, small charms/toys- think parachute men or something and riddle/fortune. They are a lot of fun and very british!!!
