Thrifty Life tips from an expert

I got a couple of great ideas from thrifty life tips.  Kristi is full of great ideas and runs one of the most helpful sites I have come across in a long time.  After reading her tips on cereal and write and wipe board, take some time to browse the site.  I promise you will find something that will save you tons of money.

Her tip is to buy a box of your kid’s fave cereal and when it is finished, just keep replacing the contents with the store brand version of the same cereal.  That way your kids will probably never know the difference and you will save money.  How sneaky is that?!  It would really work if you start when your kids are young.

The other tip is to make your own dry erase board.  Cover construction paper with clear contact paper and play away.

How cool is she!  Hope you are able to save some money and spend more time with your kids today.  See you later.
