I saved the bottoms for this summer. The kids will be looking for things to do. I’ll add them to a box of supplies so that they can cut things up and make collages or pictures. Denim is very versatile and can be used for all sorts of things.

Those are so cute. I have a hard time finding shorts long enough for me too. I have started wearing a lot of denim skirts. They keep me way cooler too.

I could use the bottom of the jeans for the rug i’m making. I actually split the jeans with someone. She uses the top for some really awesome purses and I use the bottoms for my rug.

Great job- at first when I heard cut off jeans, I cringed. In the 70’s even hairy men wore tiny frayed edge cut off shorts. Those were so gross.

That’s what I’ve done for my son’s jeans that are holey. Also I’ve re-used onesies. I cut right above where the leg holes are and sew a hem and they then turn into shirts.

After reading this I immediately grabbed my daughter’s pair of Levi’s flair jeans that were too short and made them into a really cute pair of capris! She’s so tiny in the waist, I will probably find quite a few pairs of jeans to transform, thanks for the idea!
