Funny that you mention the bleach in the sink thing. I'll always remember going to my grandmother's house when I was growing up and she almost ALWAYS had her bathroom sink filled with bleach water. It was kind of weird. You really couldn't wash your hands because of it, you had to go to the kitchen. Over the years, she finally stopped doing it, not sure why.
But, my grandfather was a plumber, so apparently it wasn't a big deal on the pipes or buddy - he would have let her know!
Kind of strange to think of the smell of bleach being a good childhood memory!

I, too, am a fan of a clean sink. There's something great about how it means there's nothing I HAVE to wash. :)

One thing though--cleaning your sink with bleach? It's kinda bad. Like, really bad. Bad for your body and bad for the environment. I recommend using a cup of baking soda and hot water instead. Clean without the harmful fumes. Those suckers have even been shown to cause cancer, depending on the reaction once they have vaporized.
