Thursday Cleaning Challenge – Control Clutter

Welcome back to Thursday Cleaning Challenge.  Sorry we took a few weeks off.  So today, I want to challenge you to get a hold of all that clutter in the toy box.  Go through the toys and if you haven’t seen your kids playing with the toy for a month, then put it away.  Then bring it out in a few months and you are a hero with a new toy.  That way you don’t so many toys to deal with in the toy box.

Ugh. I’ve been thinking about doing this for months….and then I think that if I pull the clutter out of the toy box, I’m just going to add to the clutter in storage areas.

This might be a project for this weekend though.

Nope! Put them in a box and sell them or donate them if you just want to get rid of them. Trust me, I honestly believe that toys are asexual and will reproduce no matter how quickly you thin out the toy box. Just get rid of htem and your kids will neer know the difference.

  5. Karen says:

Yes, the toys do reproduce. Before each birthday and Christmas, I tell the kids that it’s time to get rid of some more things so that we can make room for the new stuff.

I’m having my moving sale Saturday. I’m embarrassed of how much stuff has multiplied in my house.

PLEASE POST PICTURES BEFORE AND AFTER AND LET US KNOW HOW YOU DID.
