Time management tips

time management

Talk about a time management issue! I have figured out, much to my embarrassment, that I waste about 2.5 hours a day in front of the tv and at least an hour surfing the net aimlessly.

Time management tip #1: Turn off the TV. When we first moved into our house, we didn’t have TV or cable or anything but our computers and whatever DVD’s we bought. Looking back, we got so much more done and spent a lot more time communicating than we do now. I really miss those days. Now, I use the DD as an excuse to not get rid of the dish. She loves Disney and Noggin.

Time management tip #2: Be deliberate on the net. Don’t just surf to surf. Know what you are looking for and then GET OFF!!!

Just as a confession, both are equally hard for me. Which one would be harder for you?

I used to love to watch TV, but it’s not really an issue anymore. I don’t have much time for TV. Never thought I’d say that. I do miss watching TV and doing nothing. Now I find myself in front of the computer trying to keep up with my emails and blogging. I usually have at least 200 emails at one time. I just can’t keep up with it all. Don’t worry Kelly, a second baby usually cures you of any TV problem. ;)

The internet! I generally don’t watch TV unless my husband is watching a show. he likes for me to watch with him.
