If you are a regular reader here, then you know that I’ll be moving in just a few weeks.  This move will take us to a much smaller house.  Truly, we need to get rid of some things.  We have way too much stuff!!!!

My husband and I have been offered jobs in Eastern North Carolina.  On the positive side, this will be much closer to my parents and the rest of my family.  The negative part is that this will involve moving, selling our house, and purging through all of our belongings.  We have way too much stuff and need to get rid of quite a bit of it!

A few months ago Michael’s had their photo boxes on sale and I decided it would be a good time to get all of the photo boxes that I needed to organize my photos.  Although the pretty and trendy ones looked nice and appealing, I decided it wouldn’t be thrifty to purchase boxes that would go out of style like the flowered one I bought in 1994.

I love 5 minutes for moms. They are crazy over there. So my Tackle it Tuesday is a hotspot that often gets neglected. I am going through my purse. Every once in a while my purse gets lost in junk. JI am going to clean out all the paper that doesn’t need to be there. The extra pens are going away. I think I might even have a spare toy that I don’t want to play with. Oh wait, that is Little Man’s. <wink>.

Just about all of us have one.  It’s a place that we can’t seem to keep clean and organized no matter what we do.
Here is a picture of my clutter spot.  It has been haunting me for two years.  Each day I see it and it makes me feel unorganized and burdened.  I feel as though I have too much to do and I’ll never get it all done.  No matter how many times I go through the papers to file, toss, and shred, the pile is never gone.

If there is a chore that I will procrastinate it is definitely paper clutter.  I absolutely hate going through papers, reading them, filing them, shredding them, recycling them.  Ugh!!!! All of the Christmas shopping, decorating, wrapping, and get togethers made it a bit too easy for me to put the paper clutter on hold.  So today I worked on tackling the mounding pile(s). 
I spent several hours today tackling the mound.  Now I have a backache from sitting on the floor.  It was so bad that I didn’t take any pictures to share with you.  lol  The kitchen counter and table look …read more

Last week, I had hubby put up the Christmas tree.  Although it didn’t seem like it at the time, it was good that it took him a few days to get the box of ornaments out for me.  It seems our cat needed a few days to become acclamated to having a Christmas tree. I found out that the water squirt bottle is a good deterent for her!
