Using time wisely with children watching.

Sometimes it seems that we as parents spend too much time teaching our kids the exact things we don’t want them learning. For instance, I want my little girl to know that she is the third most important thing in my life behind God and Husband. A very CLOSE 3rd! I found out how much I wasn’t doing that when my internet went down this week. I haven’t been able top post or check my mail in 3 days and it has driven me crazy! I realized just how dependent I have become on my PC and the net. I will have to make a stronger commitment to spending less time on the computer when she is awake and more time playing with her. I always want her to know I am available. The fine line is not letting her think my world revolves around her, even if I think it does myself. HAHA! I need to be smarter with my time and what she sees me doing. Of course, I say this as I am sitting in a restaurant parking lot using their WIFI while my girlfriend is playing with the baby at home. Guess I will start tonight.
