Our Michaels doesn’t require an actual coupon. If there was a newspaper ad running the previous weekend, they will allow 1 non-coupon percentage off each day, but you have to ask for it at the checkout. My local store will also honor AC Moore and JoAnnes newspaper coupons, but they will NOT honor computer generated competitor coupons, except for their own for Michaels. And you must check with your own local store, not all appear to be that generous. My store puts out a handful of coupon flyers early Sunday morning….they are grabbed up quickly, however, so you have to be an early-bird.

I recently had a Michaels Craft store open near me and I am wondering how I can get coupons.I do not receive any newspapers. Does anyone know any other way of receving them?.. email possibly? Does Michaels take A.C. Moore coupons?

I use the coupons for Michaels and Beverly’s (our local craft store) when there is something that I need to get there. Recently I saw an adorable sign that I would like to have to hang in my daughter’s room in an expensive gift shop. So now I am saving my craft store coupons to get the supplies I need to make her that sign.

One warning about Color Wonder…the pictures do not last. So if your little one makes a brilliant picture, it will fade in a matter of weeks. My son made some adorable pictures that a colleague of mine asked to frame for her office. They didn’t last very long, and we were so disappointed because they were adorable. If you get Color Wonder and the kids crank out the kind of artwork you want to save forever, make sure to color copy it so it will last!

Susan, I’m mainly getting the Sunday paper for the grocery coupons, but I’m enjoying the craft coupons too.
