Webkinz

This is from my nephew, Noah.  He is an aspiring 12 year old blogger and is doing just fine!

There’s this thing that my siblings and I like to do on the Internet called Webkinz. Yeah you’ve probably heard of them, the plush animals with the codes that you go online with and enter to have your very own virtual animal. Well my “Aunt” Kelly asked me to do a blog for the 24 hour blogathon. The topic that I picked was Webkinz.

Webkinz is a fun and educational website for kids and adults of all ages(even my mom plays). The cost of a Webkinz pet is around 15 dollars. There’s trivia, games, and a whole lot more. My favorite part on Webkinz is the treasure hunt in the Curio Shop. You go to the mines and mine for gems once a day. There’s 30 different gems you have to get and when you collect all of the gems you get the Webkinz Crown of Wonder. You win the most points playing educational games. I also like that you can earn points and buy stuff for your pet like clothes, toys, and stuff for its home.

Thank you for reading my blog. I look forward to reading your comments.

Way to go Noah! I have a son about your age that does yo yos and a money one. I think it’s great that you’ve found something you like to write about. I’ve heard of Webkinz but never bought any for my kids yet.

He is really growing up. I remember when he came up to our wedding and he fell asleep on my lap when we were taking pictures. He is getting so big!

As an avid Webkinz fan, I can say that Webkinz World is a fun, safe place for kids to hang on the Internet. It can be very educational too. I really recommend it!
