I've heard several differant things about milk. Now do I take some out if I want to freeze it to avoid an explosion? Or do I just go for it and still have great taste.
Going to get 4 gallons this wknd. as it's $2.10.

I cut up and freeze onions and green peppers. They are great in soups and stews but they will be too soft for salads and such.

Yep, I freeze bananas when they're on the brink of going brown. Then you pull them out just in time to make banana bread, and they are SOOOO perfect for that. Just squeeze 'em into the measuring cup and go.

I also have frozen fresh chopped herbs. Parsley works very well. I don't need the whole bunch, nor will I go through that much in a whole year probably, but when you freeze it and put it in a zip top bag, it stays good for a long time!

I might have to give the banana one a try. They always seem to go bad on us before we can finish them all.

I have frozen many things in my time and hardly ever regretted it. In fact, the freezer can be a great place to hide things too. Burgulars will never steal your ice-cream!!!
I can tell you with great authority that cheese freezes perfectly well, thank you. Bananas don't though. Avoid freezing tropical fruit at all costs!!

Now finally, can someone please tell me what an uncrustable is? I simply won't sleep until I find out.
